Health care

Tommy Douglas believes that the run health care should be apply by the government. Because of there are differences about the price between people who has money to pay for them hospital care and people who has difficulties living above poverty line, only a government can pay for all its citizens. There are also problems with the other health care plans because the government has to dispose of beneficiaries because of their age, congenital illnesses or their medical past history. At the opposite, Dr. E. W. Barootes thinks that legislating profession of medecine can threaten the best of human values like charity or mercy.

Stockwell Day talks about the "two tier" health care system that the Liberal Party proposed in 2000 to think about the problem of ours. He also refers to the economic problems that our health sytem has because it costs more and more each year without good reasons that can explain it. Problems are also caused by millions of dollar foreign investment when the problems are here. He thinks that healthy care system is not a good idea because it will cost a lot in the future if the problems aren't resolved. If it continues, the deficit will increase with taxes, without solutions is found.

In this crisis time, I believe that a public health care is the solution. I think everybody has the right to access at public health services without discrimination because he doesn't have a lot money. Each person should treated at the same way than another. Stockwell Day may have a point when he said the problems are the money that government invests in U.S. when we need it for us, but it's not a reason to deprive those who can't afford to pay their own hospital health care. I would also dispute the opinion of Dr. Barootes because, normally, a doctor doesn't treat patients just because he will be paid a lot. He was sworn that he will always try to assist anyone needs help in every situation, that he will receive money in exchange or not. I share a view with Tommy Douglas's idea of the run health system. Everybody needs care at least on time in his life and it's not everyone that can pay several hundred dollar for hospitalization. I think our society is not an invidualist society, while acting as such!

Marriage

I think people should choose the person with whom they want to get married by themself. Marriage is one of the most important decision that a person has to do in his life. Even if he has the possibility to divorce, this person promised to live with the other and to love it until death separeted them. It's not a little promise, it's a promise for life. In fact, it's a choice that only one person can do. No one else should decide who he can marry. I disagree with Israr Mirza when he said parents want the best for their children, so they can suggest somebody to marry him in the second video. It's not because they educate him that they can know which person he will love. Even if parents say that he has the choice and can refuse, he will certainly accept, because if he thinks that parents know what is good for himself, he will give a big importance on what they say. So he will always wait their opinions about important things in his life. It's not good for a person who wishes to be independent. For me it's really important that I choose by myself with whom I will live with the rest of my life. A person should always have the control of his life. For these reasons I believe people should decide with whom they want to marry.

Standing out

I think people who live in the Quebec's society should understand that we are lucky to live in a rich city. Some people doesn't have this chance and they decide to search a place where life is better. I think it's normal that we help them to feel better here than their country of origin. I don't understand people who dislike or hate immigrants just because they are ''so different''. I don't think that there are too many people like that, because Quebecois are so generous and welcoming! It's normal that there are more immigrants in Montreal than elsewhere, because 85% of them go there to search job. It's for that there are so many problems to find jobs. I think we have to help them to be well at home. It's simple to help them, just make them feel good here by treating them as equals.

Does Gender Matter?

I think that hiding gender of a kid shouldn't do by parents, because it's the first thing that give you differences with someone. It's a part of education that parents have to teach at their kids .It's a part of your own identity! I think that no one want to be so different. How do a person feel when he/she doesn't have sense of belonging with his/her own parents? Wich role in family he/she wants to be in future : mother or father? I think that a person will not be a complete person if he/she doesn't know why nature has made as he/she is. Babies should have the right to know the gender. Just think of his/her brothers and sisters : I think that they want to know if they have a sister or a brother.
